# Tokenomics + Staking

**MetaVax** will integrate its own token called **$VAX**

* **$VAX** will be a **SPL-20 Fungible Token** used within the **MetaVax Ecosystem**.
* **$VAX** is generated by either staking your **MetaVax NFT** or completing humanitarian aid missions. Every day **$VAX** will be airdropped into the wallets of **MetaVax** holders who are staking their **NFTs**.
* The amount of **$VAX** generated is affected by various factors (i.e. MetaVax rarity, amount staked etc)

**MetaVax** rarity is based off the average rarity of your **MetaVax** traits combined. 

* **Common** = 1 **$VAX**/Day (staked)
* <mark style="color:blue;">**Uncommon**</mark> = 2 **$VAX**/Day (staked)
* <mark style="color:green;">**Rare**</mark> = 3 **$VAX**/Day (staked)
* <mark style="color:purple;">**Epic**</mark> = 4 **$VAX**/Day (staked)
* <mark style="color:red;">**Mythic**</mark> = 5 **$VAX**/Day (staked)
* <mark style="color:yellow;">**Legendary (1 of 1)**</mark> = 8 **$VAX**/Day (staked)

*Example: If you have 3 <mark style="color:green;">rare</mark>* ***MetaVax NFTs**, that is 9 **$VAX**/Day.*\
